Dye It Yourself Part 2

I decided I needed to fix my hair as soon as possible, I couldn't live with how it looked and I didn't feel very confident about it, I was also to excited to have purple hair as soon as possible.

It took me a while to decide whether to apply a lot of blonde lifts to my hair, or whether to use the same stripper but apply it myself this time.

I went to Boots and decided to go the former route and when I got home I applied it, waited seventy-five minutes, then washed and use the shampoo provided and put a mask on my hair for ten to fifteen minutes before washing it out and putting conditioner on my hair then drying it and applying oil to my hair.

It turned out that even I had missed some of my roots, in fairness I didn't quite have enough of the mixture to cover all of my hair.

Thankfully, my grandmother was put off dying her hair after seeing mine and she had bought the same product but for lighter hair, I had some help from my mother and managed to cover up the roots and apply it to the parts of my hair that were a deeper shade of ginger than the rest of my hair.

I realised the risk I was taking by applying a peroxide twice in one day, so the second application was only on for twenty minutes. I washed my hair and followed the same procedure as earlier, and it turned out a lot lighter and with no patches of darkness, although I fear my hair did take some damage so I will not be applying the colour I want it to be for a few more days, before my friends can see that blonde really doesn't suit me in real life!
